Best advice you can receive. A very large amount of furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, air conditioners, and more break down due to the fact the unit was plugged up, or dirt got caught on parts, or the blower was not able to get enough suction. An average HVAC man will come clean all your heating and air products for around $80 - $100. It is recommended, as it is an excellent way of preventative maintenance. Changing your filter every month or two can cut breakdowns down by over 50%. That is a lot of money considering that most HVAC companies charge from $50 - $90 to tell you just what is wrong. So just remember, change your filter!
